1. Who we are

Mao Taxi Express ("we", "us", "our") is a taxi and chauffeur service based at Ismet Pasa 6, Limassol 3042, Cyprus, reachable on +357 94 006801. These Terms apply whenever you contact us through this website, WhatsApp, phone, Viber or Telegram, or travel with us.

2. How bookings work

This website is a way to reach us — the trip planner, map picker and fare estimator on the homepage prepare a message that is sent to us via WhatsApp. A booking is only confirmed once we reply and agree the pickup time, route and price with you directly. Submitting the form does not, by itself, guarantee a driver or a price.

3. Fares and payment

Fare estimates shown on this site (including the "from" prices on the Airport Transfers board and the estimate in the trip planner) are calculated from approximate driving distance and a standard rate. They are guides only. The actual fare is agreed with your driver before travel and may differ based on your exact pickup point, waiting time, luggage, route taken, or time of day.

Unless we've agreed online payment with you separately, payment is made directly to the driver at the end of the trip, by cash or card as available.

4. Cancellations and no-shows

Please let us know as early as possible by phone or WhatsApp if you need to cancel or change a booking. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect our ability to offer future priority bookings.

5. Flight tracking

For airport transfers, we make a reasonable effort to track your flight and adjust pickup timing accordingly. This depends on accurate flight details being provided to us in advance and on flight-tracking data being available; we can't guarantee tracking for every flight or in every circumstance.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate pickup, drop-off, date/time and passenger details.
• Be ready at the agreed pickup point and time.
• Treat the vehicle and driver with respect; you're responsible for damage caused by you or your party.
• Follow seatbelt and child-seat requirements as applicable under Cyprus law.

7. Liability

We carry the licensing and insurance required to operate as a taxi service in Cyprus. Our liability for any claim relating to a trip is limited to what is required under applicable Cyprus law and our insurance cover. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (traffic, weather, road closures, flight delays, and similar).

8. This website

This website uses third-party services to work: OpenStreetMap/Nominatim and Leaflet for maps and address search, and OSRM for route/distance estimates. These run in your browser when you use the trip planner or map picker — see our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to bookings made after it was last updated.
